The five processes
Each page lists the stages, the checkpoints and the owner of each one.
The design process runs from brief to artwork file, with a checkpoint at every step where a decision would change the cost. The pricing process explains where a unit price comes from, which is usually setup spread across a run rather than the product itself. Publishing that is useful to a buyer, because it shows which part of a quotation is worth challenging.
The procurement process describes how a factory is selected, what has to be in place before an order is placed and how a supplier is reviewed afterwards. The quality process covers the inspection points from the first piece to the packed carton, and what happens when a batch does not pass.
The sustainability method explains which claims we make and how each one is evidenced, and which claims we decline to make because we cannot document them. All five processes end in the same place: a Portuguese invoice in EUR with 23% IVA issued through Portal das Finanças (AT).
