Digital Product Passport — what we capture today
ESPR-aligned data capture for textiles and tech accessories — material, origin, repair, end-of-life — for Portugal orders.
What ESPR requires
Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation phases in DPP across product categories. Textiles in early waves. DPP carries material composition, country of origin per component, repair information, recyclability/end-of-life routes.
Our capture today — pre-mandate
We already capture: BOM with material composition, Tier-1 supplier and country, certificate references (GOTS, OEKO-TEX, GRS), care/repair guidance. Captured at PO stage, attached to QR/RFID where requested.
QR code on the product
Print or attach a QR code linking to the DPP page (hosted by us or your tenant). DPP page shows material, origin, certificates, repair guide, recycle route. Versioned — updates don't break old codes.
Portugal — implementation context
ESPR applies in Portugal as EU law. IVA 23% invoicing via Portal das Finanças (AT) stays unchanged; DPP is product-level, not invoice-level. Lisbon hub adds DPP labelling step at no extra fee for framework agreement customers.
