Compliance standards for corporate merch
Seventeen pages on the standards a corporate merch supplier has to satisfy, and the evidence to ask for with each one.

Standards, certificates and what they cover
Every page states which document applies, what it covers and how to check it.
Compliance questions arrive in a specific order. A data protection officer asks what happens to the recipient list. A procurement lead asks for the ISO certificate of the factory, not of the agency. A sustainability team asks whether the product carries a real chain of custody claim. Each page here is written as the answer to one of those questions.
The certificate matters less than its scope. A chain of custody certificate that covers one recycled polyester SKU does not cover a cotton tote, and an ISO 9001 certificate covers a quality management system rather than the goods themselves. Each page names the document, the entity it belongs to and the period it covers, so a reviewer can check it against the order rather than against a brochure.
Several of these standards reach a buyer through paperwork rather than through product. The digital product passport rules, the EU deforestation regulation and the corporate sustainability reporting directive all arrive as data a buyer has to collect. We write about them here as reporting obligations with a practical checklist attached to each one.
