Detailed FAQ — payment
Why 50% deposit?
Branded merch is bespoke production — once your logo is printed, the stock has no secondary market. The deposit covers blanks and setup; the balance follows delivery.
Can I get Net 30 / Net 45?
Yes — after two completed orders or with a credit-line check. We open a customer credit limit, you receive a Net 30 AT-certified invoice via email + Portal das Finanças.
What is AT-certified invoicing?
Portuguese B2B invoices must be issued from software certified by Autoridade Tributária. Every invoice carries an ATCUD unique code and a QR code, and is reported in real time to Portal das Finanças.
SAF-T-PT — what is it?
An XML file with the full month's invoicing, submitted monthly to Portal das Finanças. We deliver SAF-T-PT files on request to clients who need them for their own accounting.
EU reverse-charge?
For B2B sales to a valid EU VAT ID outside Portugal, we issue an invoice without IVA, with "IVA — autoliquidação" (reverse-charge) annotation. Buyer self-accounts in their country.
Payment methods?
SEPA bank transfer (preferred), SEPA Direct Debit for recurring clients, MB WAY for samples and small invoices, Visa/Mastercard via Stripe link, PayPal for samples under 200 EUR.
Sample fees?
Samples are paid 100% upfront. On bulk order confirmation the sample fee is credited on the final invoice.
Late payment?
Portuguese commercial debt rules apply: legal interest at the published rate from the day after invoice due date, plus a 40 EUR fixed recovery fee. Rarely invoked on recurring clients.
