The five documents that govern an order, and the two lines a procurement reviewer usually needs first.

What governs an order
Three questions come up in almost every review: who we are, what we do with your data, and what you are agreeing to.
The terms of service set the commercial frame for an order. Prices are quoted in EUR excluding VAT, delivery and the transfer of risk are stated, and the accepted artwork file is the reference production is measured against. For a buyer running a tender, the terms of service and the purchase order template are the two documents that have to agree before an order can be placed.
The privacy policy and the data processing agreement cover the part of a merch programme that touches personal data. Recipient lists, size information and delivery addresses are processed so that an order can be fulfilled, and the data processing agreement states what happens to those lists once the delivery is complete. The cookie policy covers this website rather than the merchandise.
The legal notice carries the registered entity, its registration number, its VAT number and the registered office, which are the identifiers a Portuguese procurement team checks before onboarding a new supplier. Read it alongside the data processing agreement and the terms of service, because those three answer three different questions.
